It's absolutely absurd. I'm all for creating a nice enough learning environment -- but I think that can be done by having non-peeling paint and in-tact tiles. Do the kids really care about the state of the bulletin boards, so long as we show off work from time to time?

And don't even get me started on how ridiculous it is to insist on posting the standards all the time. Ugh.
