That was the best New Year's Eve that I've ever had in my entire life.

Highlight: standing on the corner of 8th avenue and 44th street with ten minutes to go in 2006, the girl who has captured my heart told me that she loves me for the first time. My heart has never felt so full.

Seriously, that's romantic comedy material right there.

At midnight, when thousands of people reached for one another, we kissed and it was almost like everyone else just ceased to exist. Awesome.
